Kiambu residents have decided to take the celebrations to a crazy end all in the name of finally saying, the political tension is over. The supreme Court of Kenya on Monday upheld the October 26 elections where President Uhuru Kenyatta won after NASA leader Raila Odinga decided to boycott the election.

Well this reportedly happened in Kiambu.

Kiambu is a top Jubilee Party stronghold, and its residents have spent the whole day celebrating Uhuru Kenyatta win.

The people are now preparing for the grand swearing that is scheduled to take place next week Tuesday at Kasarani Stadium.

In Kisumu NASA supporters lit tyre fires to show their anger towards the ruling.Youths barricaded roads leading into and leaving Kisumu central business district with burning tyres and rocks.

Businesses around Kondele and Kibuye closed in a huff out of fear of looting.

Parts of Kisumu CBD were, however, calm after the court’s decision.

Nairobi Women Rep Esther Passaris had this to say after the ruling.

I am sad. Very sad. My Country Kenya has deep rooted divisions spanning years right into the ‘core’ of our motherland. As half celebrate the other half bleeds both internally & externally. Do Not celebrate your win oblivious of how the other half feels?
