A TikToker who mocked some Kenyan celebrities who turned up at the premiere of the international film, Black Panther, ‘Wakanda Forever’, has finally spoken after being strongly criticized by a section of Kenyans.

The young lady who is just beginning her journey as a content creator found herself in the thick of insults of all manners after she criticized the appearance of veteran Kenyan artiste Nameless – saying that he looked like a thug.

“Nameless personally you look like these people that are robbing people because if I saw you I personally would have run because it is giving armed robbers,” she said.

After the video went viral, the TikToker came under scathing attack from a section of netizens who savagely roasted her.

The lady later came out to reveal that she had reached out to Nameless to apologize to him for her criticism.

“I’ve reached out to Nameless and apologised and told him if he took any offence to my review, I am genuinely sorry. You know I have reached out to him,” she said.

The TikToker however lamented that she skin-shamed by netizens, noting that Kenyans were colourist and dark-skinned women have it rough.

“Also, I want to say this I have seen all your comments and most of them are about my skin tone how dark I am and how being dark skinned is so ugly and how my skin is so disgusting you people cannot spend a minute looking at me.”

The TikToker noted that she could not keep quiet because she wanted to be a voice to call out colourists.

“At first, I was like I was going to keep quiet about the matter and you know let it die but for how long are we going to keep quiet and let you people wanting to put dark-skinned women down? For how long are we going to let you people put us down because you don’t like my skin and it has an issue because I don’t remember saying anything about these people’s bodies I just remember talking about their outfits and it’s my opinion because everyone has an opinion.”
