Sarkodie dropped his 7th studio album dubbed ‘No Pressure’ which was his highly anticipated studio album yet, everybody across the globe was looking forward to the studio album, especially his fans from Africa.

In 2009, Sarkodie dropped ‘Makye’ studio album, ‘RapperHolic’ in 2012, ‘Sarkology’ in 2014, ‘Mary’ in 2015, ‘Highest’, and ‘Black Love’ in 2017 and his newest project of 2021 is ‘No Pressure’ that has proved that he’s best rapper in and from Africa today.

On this project, Sarkodie made sure that the songs were able to reach every corner of the earth with the stellar selection of all the artistes he featured on the studio album.

Sarkodie has managed to make a name for himself outside of Ghana but across the entire globe thanks to his unique hip hop music which he’s been dominating the African music scene for the longest time now.

When you speak of the African hip hop scene, you cannot forget to have Sarkodie in that conversation, there’s no way.

Bursting on scene officially back in 2009 with his debut studio album dubbed ‘Makye’, Sarkodie has managed to make a name stand out when you talk about hip hop in Africa.

He’s a 2-time BET Hip Hop Awards winner, he’s cumulatively amassed over 450 million streams on his music catalog across all DSPs. His recent notable win thanks to his music dominance was when he was named the Artiste of the Decade at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards in 2019.

Currently, the rapper who has surpassed the plateau he had set for himself in Ghana is currently on an African tour promoting his 7th studio album, ‘No Pressure’.

This is also the very first time that the Ghanaian rapper will be doing a tour of Africa promoting his studio album.

His latest body of work dubbed ‘No Pressure’ which is a 15-track project has touched all corners of Africa thanks to his stellar features coming from an international cast including Bernel(Ghana), Vic Mensa (United States), Giggs (United Kingdom), Wale (United States), Cassper Nyovest (South Africa), Oxlade (Nigeria), Harmonize (Tanzania), Kwesi Arthur (Ghana), MOG Music(Ghana), and, Darko Vibes(Ghana) making it one of the most highly anticipated hip hop projects in Africa in 2021.

Because of ‘No Pressure’, Sarkodie is inevitably going to put the African hip hop scene on an international pedestal since Africa is taking ever everything after Angélique Kidjo, Burna Boy, and Wizkid both boast of winning the coveted internationally recognized Award, the Grammy. Sarkodie is looking forward to winning a Grammy as well.
