The closure was basically enforced to ensure the safety of both the learners and their teachers.

Prince Tobby, just like other teachers, has significantly been affected by the situation, and he had to find an alternative source of livelihood, at least in the meantime, if not forever.

Prince Tobby can sing, entertain, and still teach if he so wishes.

Prince Tobby decided to explore his musical talent the day he walked through the doors of Barikiwa Studios, formerly under the leadership of Wuod Fibi who has since relocated to Sweden.

Before relocating to Sweden, Wuod Fibi handed over the mantle at Barikiwa studio to a very talented producer, Eng. Ortiz Sauti Rhumba.

There is something unique about Barikiwa studio, the studio has produced some of the best Luo Rhumba talents including Prince Indah, Kofi Makadori, Emma Jalamo, and Musa Jakadala.

Prince Tobby is in the right place, and of course in the right hands of the very talented producer Eng. Ortiz Sauti Rhumba of Barikiwa studio.

Prince Tobby has so far done two hit songs, ‘Hera Gima Oyuma’, and ‘Weche Jo pap’ both songs are already doing so well on YouTube.
