He has worked tirelessly to change the narrative surrounding hip hop in Kenya, and his efforts have not gone unnoticed.

Even though he dropped lyricism for sound, Octopizzo’s lyrics are deep, thoughtful, and often address issues affecting the youth in Kenya, such as poverty, corruption, and social inequality.

Arguarbly, there’s no one rapper in the country who can hold a candle to Octopizzo’s lyricism and wordplay

Octopizzo Foundation

In addition to his music, Octopizzo has also been involved in several philanthropic projects aimed at improving the lives of the less fortunate in his community.

You can safely say that he’s been doing the Lord’s work by the stuff that he’s been doing with his foundation which he doesn’t rub on people’s faces because he doesn’t love to gloat and show off what he’s been doing for the community like most of our celebrities does. In all actuality, you wouldn’t know that he owns a foundation if you’re not an ardent follower.

He has partnered with organizations such as UNICEF and Save the Children to provide education and basic needs to children living in the slums.

He has also started his own foundation, Octopizzo Foundation, which aims to empower youth from disadvantaged backgrounds through education and mentorship programs.
