Octopizzo is humbled by the love, and respect he’s getting from his fans countrywide and everywhere else in the world.

The Kibera born-and-bred rapper has always stayed true to his course in life; making a change in this life in his personal life and also by touching the lives of the people who are around him in this case, the people of Kibera, he hasn’t forgotten where he came from.

Octopizzo has managed to do a lot in the Kenyan music industry, he’s achieved a lot of things that most predecessors in the hip hop industry thought it was impossible to achieve. Thanks to Octopizzo’s consistency in the game, a lot of rappers in the music industry are getting paid handsomely.

There’s no Kenyan rapper and/or any other successful mainstream artiste who knows and understand the history of rap music, the music industry in general but more specifically the hip hop culture in the country who has a problem with him, everybody respects him as a pioneer of a lot of stuff in the music industry with one important one being that he was the one person who played a major role of taking hip hop to board rooms together with fellow rapper, Juliani.

It’s only right that Kenyans starts giving him his flowers when he’s gracing us, the fans, with his presence for enabling a lot of things in the music industry.

Thanks to this, Octopizzo is always humbled, and grateful to appreciate the little things and appreciations from true loyal fans and stans toward him. With this in mind, Octopizzo who recently released his new hit record dubbed ‘Pockets’ the other day was very appreciative after seeing a matatu with his mural drawn on it which isn’t something to be taken lightly.

Octopizzo shared the photo of the matatu that has his mural drawn on it being humbled by the gesture.

For anybody to get drawn on a matatu means something huge in the matatu culture in Kenya. It means that you’re regarded in high regard and respected all the same for what you’re doing in the country.

Politicians, musicians, celebrities have been known for having their murals drawn on matatus. This isn’t the first time Octopizzo has been drawn on a matatu, all the same, he’s very grateful for the gesture.
