A week ago, Magix Enga came out gun blazing accusing Harmonize of copyright infringement. The Kenyan producer gave the Bongo singer a 7 day ultimatum to pull down his latest song ‘Uno’.

Harmonize dropped ‘Uno’ on November 4th to a warm reception from his fans. The song had been trending on YouTube and had garnered 2.4 million views in under two weeks.

‘Uno’ is the first song Harmonize released after parting ways with Diamond Platnumz’s Wasafi Records. Magix Enga accused Harmonize of sampling beats for ‘Uno’ from King Kaka’s hit song ‘Dundaing’ (which he produced) without his approval.

Magix Enga’s 7-day ultimatum to Harmonize expired and he decided to petition Google to have ‘Uno’ pulled down from YouTube on grounds of copyright infringement.

‘Uno’ was ultimately pulled down to the surprise of Harmonize’s fans. A search for the song on YouTube indicates the video is no longer available.

“Video unavailable. This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by magix enga,” the message from YouTube reads.

Magix Enga took to social media to brag after ‘Uno’ was pulled down. The Kenyan producer further warned other musicians against sampling his beats saying that they too will suffer the same fate like Harmonize.

“1 Week Imeisha and The song Uno is no longer on YouTube Don’t sample magix Enga Beats. I repeat, dont! Like I said i’m not going to allow this to happen not in 254 🇰🇪,” wrote Magicx Enga.
