A photo of Muga (Avril’s fiancé) and Big Brother Africa winner Delish Mathews enjoying a meal together at a restaurant in Windhoek, Namibia on Valentine’s Day sparked rumors the two were having an affair.
Avril was performing in Kakamega that same Valentine’s Day when her boyfriend was enjoying a meal with Delish.
Rumors popped that Avril broke up with her South African fiancé following his escapade with Delish in Namibia.
In a recent interview with Radio Maisha, Avril was laid bare the state of her relationship with her sweetheart.
She said she disregarded the rumor and failed to respond to it because she knew the truth and didn’t want to give rumormongers her time.
“Yes we are still together and very much in love. Sometimes when you try to prove people wrong and yet they are convinced they are right, it is just a waste of time and energy.” [sic]
