Babu Tale is yet to relinquish his managerial role even though he is serving an elected Member of Parliament (MP) for Morogoro South East constituency.
Tale ran unopposed for Morogoro South East constituency in November polls after his opponents were disqualified by the electoral body.
He won the MP seat vying on ruling party Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) ticket. He became CCM flagbearer after beating Tanzania’s assistant Agricultural minister Omary Mgumbe, who was the incumbent area MP.

It seems Tale will be juggling between his job as a lawmaker and managing Diamond Platnumz for the foreseeable future.
Tale accompanied Diamond to Moshi where he performed at Santa Banana Music Festival on December 23rd. As part of his managerial job, Tale is required to travel with the singer wherever he is slated to perform.

It’s important to note that Diamond has three managers; Babu Tale, Sallam SK Mendez and Mkubwa Fella. The three take turns to accompany Diamond wherever he performs.
