Pep Guardiola’s mother has sadly succumbed to Coronavirus, COVID-19 as confirmed by Manchester City.
Pep Guardiola’s mother, Dolors Sala Carrio who was 82 years old passed away in Manresa, Barcelona.
Manchester United’s official Tweet in regard to the passing of Pep Guardiola’s mother read, “The Manchester City family are devastated to report the death today of Pep’s mother Dolors Sala Carrio in Manresa, Barcelona after contracting Corona Virus.”
“She was 82-years-old.”

Pep’s mother –who was believed to be living in Santpedor, in Central Catalonia where Pep grew up– was still married to his father who is a bricklayer, she was a former salesperson.
Pep Guardiola is the third child out of four children; two daughters and two sons.
