Sauti Sol has released its latest offering that has brought together Sho Madjozi and the ultimate duo, Black Motion in one song.

The song in question is ‘Disco Matanga’ or ‘Yambakhana’ which surprisingly sees Sauti Sol’s Bien-Aimé Baraza singing in Luhya alone, the only Swahili on the record is heard from Sho Madjozi alone.

The ‘Disco Matanga’ hit record which was officially released yesterday, is one of the soundtracks of the historical, first-ever African hit series, Queen Sono that Pearl Thusi is a part of as a protagonist of the original Netflix series.

This is the very first-time Sauti Sol has worked with Sho Madjozi and Black Motion which comprise of Thabo “Smol” Mabogwane (Percussionist) and Robert “Murdah” Mohosana in the same project, neither of these great artistes has ever worked with each other prior to their collaboration record together.

Sauti Sol who is currently getting ready to release their 5th studio album, Midnight Train later on in May jumping on a beat like this proves yet again that they are established versatile artistes that ought to be reckoned with especially in the music scene

Sauti Sol released the official ‘Disco Matanga’ single which is believed to be off their upcoming studio album on all streaming sites.

The ‘Disco Matanga’ record becomes the first song ever that Sauti Sol has ever released in vernacular which sees Bien-Aimé Baraza almost singing the entire record alone.
