Jimmy Gait is set to under go surgery in India, the gospel singer opened up about his condition while appealing to his fans to pray for him.
Jimmy took to social media to announce that he will be undergoing a throat surgery. He revealed that his damaged throat is the reason why he has been off music scene.
His announcement comes barely days after another gospel singer – Pitson too said that doctors had instructed him to keep off music after he damaged his throat.

Jimmy disclosed that he has been unwell for more than a year. The controversial gospel singer further noted that he will be in India for about 15-20 days.
The ‘Muhadhara’ hit maker also addressed his critics while making the announcement, he cautioned detractors not to make jokes about his condition.
“Let them know that there are things people don’t joke around with, which includes health matters. I encourage people to just give me positive energy as I am going through a very hard time,” said Jimmy Gait.
