Ras Naya started his song writing and singing career in Mwandoni Mombasa in 1995. He was vocal commentator of social and political issues and sang against all kinds of oppression. He was forced by circumstances to relocate to Europe where he settled in Paris, France and continued his musical career. He has over the years enjoyed the appreciation of many reggae funs across the world.
