Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua responded to Nasa chants in a rather funny way. Things turned uglu when the governor ran into Nasa supporters in Ukambani while campaigning for Uhuru Kenyatta.
Mutua is Uhuru’s point-man in Ukambani, his Maendeleo Chap Chap party endorsed Uhuru Kenyatta in his re-election bid in August 8th presidential election.
The Machakos governor found it hard to sell Jubilee agenda in Ukamba, a region that overwhelmingly voted for Nasa leader Raila Odinga and his running-mate Kalonzo Musyoka.
Mutua recently mocked Nasa supporters who shouted him down in a rally in Ukambani. He used gestures to instruct Nasa supporters to sing louder and louder before he drove away in his SUV.
