Christina Shusho was compelled to perform in Kenya by her multitude of fans who launched an online petition for an end-year concert.
The Tanzanian songbird confirmed her arrival in Kenya informing her fans that she had safely touched down in the country.
“Nimewasili. Asanteni kwa mapokezi mazuri ndugu zangu Wakenya, kama bado hujapata tiketi yako hujachelewa,” she said.
Shusho was received by Churchill Show’s Daniel Ndambuki popularly known as Mwalimu Churchill.
The Tanzanian singer revealed that she will be performing in Kenya on the night of December 31, 2023, to usher in the new year 2024.
Kenyans successfully lobbied Christina Shusho to perform in the country but the event has been turned to a comedy show by Churchill.
Shusho was scheduled to perform on the sidelines of a New Year’s Eve (NYE) comedy show much to the displeasure of fans who were expecting a praise and worship concert.
