meet TC, the young rapper aiming for the hip hop crown

You can call him TC and not to be mistaken with the RnB singer from Bristol because the TC in question is a rapper and representing Kenya to the fullest with his latest single called ‘Nairobi’ celebrating Nairobi city.

His style of flow is English slang, though it could have been dope if he could rap in sheng, or Swahili because Kenya is notorious for getting known as the only African country that doesn’t have a musical identity because everyone wants to sound like Jay Z, Kanye West or even Nigerians like Wizkid or Tanzanians like Diamond Platnumz. How I wish the new crop of musicians coming up would just embrace our culture and be unique in that area, Wizkid made it because he stuck to his African roots.

TC, is definitely on the right path only if he could embrace the Nairobi culture and embody it to his music, he would be great. Watch the single ‘Nairobi’ by TC.
