Zuchu began her tour of the US with a rather disappointing show in Houston, Texas on November 18, 2022.

The Bongo singer took to social media to express her disappointment after the Houston show flopped terribly. She however remained upbeat that her remaining shows in the US would be successful.

US-based event organizers Sue Gacambi came out to advise African musicians following Zuchu’s disappointing show.

Sue called on African musicians to be humble saying they shouldn’t be fooled by their popularity in African to think that they are also big in America.

“Please African artistes humble yourself because the people coming to your shows are doctors, lawyers. They are making more money than you but they are there to have a good time regardless. You can be famous in Africa but not in America. Actually Americans African kids don’t know you. The only people who know you it’s those who speak Swahili. Good show is for the humble people not for know it all,” Sue wrote.

Sue is among organizers organizing shows for Mugithi singer Samidoh in the US.
