Raila Odinga’s lastborn daughter Winnie Odinga has resurfaced on social media to announce her retirement.

Winnie disappeared from social media following the drama with a section of Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance’s supporters.

Raila’s daughter however on Thursday October 6, 2022, made a comeback on social media after nearly a month of silence.

Winnie through her post on Instagram announced that she had retired.

“Trying to enjoy early retirement,” Winnie wrote.

In early September, Winnie was embroiled in an ugly spat with section of Azimio supporters on Twitter that led to her going silent on social media.

Winnie attacked Azimio lawyer Donald Kipkorir in a tweet that sparked a fierce reaction from bloggers allied to the coalition.

Raila’s daughter also savagely slammed United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party blogger Dennis Itumbi and two other loyalists of President William Ruto – Farouk Kibet and Emmanuel Talam.

Winnie made it clear that she could never get married to ‘thieving baggers’ while referring to Itumbi, Kibet and Talam.
