Victoria Kimani mourns Nipsey Hussle as the world remembers him

The world is currently mourning and remembering the slain rapper from Crenshaw, Nipsey Hussle real name Ermias Joseph Asghedom who brought light to his community by helping out in every way he can and giving back.

Philanthropist, father, and entrepreneur Nipsey Hussle was assassinated on 31 March 2019, Los Angeles, California, United States and yesterday marked his first anniversary since he left us.

was gunned outside of his Marathon clothing store in South Central Los Angeles. He was only 33 years old.
Nipsey died a year ago and his death still hurts to this day.

Kenyan singer, vocalist, songwriter and entrepreneur Victoria Kimani who was raised in the U.S. took time to mourn the late legend by sharing photos of herself in front of the ‘The Marathon Continues(TMC) store where Nipsey Hussle was actually gunned down.

“Can’t believe Its been 1 year since they took this African King from us” Victoria Kimani wrote, “🙏🏾 #tmc 🏁💙 Continue to rest in power”

Nipsey Hussle’s posthumous accolades

Posthumously, Nipsey Hussle this past January also went on to receive two Grammys Best Rap Performance for his 2018 single “Racks In The Middle” which featured Roddy Ricch and Hit-Boy, along with Best Rap Song for his collaboration with DJ Khaled and John Legend for their song “Higher.”

He was also honored in an anticipated Grammys tribute with performances from Kirk Franklin, YG, Meek Mill, Roddy Ricch, DJ Khaled, and John Legend.
