This Is Why These Seven ODM Leaders Could Be Arrested And Charged With Robbery With Violence

ODM politicians are under siege again! Seven opposition leaders have been summoned to CID office in Malindi.

Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho, Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi , Kilifi Senator Stewart Madzayo, Kilifi Woman Representative Aisha Jumwa, Mvita MP Abdulswamad Nassir, Msambweni MP Suleiman Dori and Ndhiwa MP Agostino Neto have all been summoned by the directorate of criminal investigation.

But why does the CID demand a date the Cord politicians? The police want the leaders to record statements in connection with the violence witnessed during Malindi By-election.

CID had issued a directive requiring the seven to appear in Malindi CID office by yesterday. Almost all the seven politicians confirmed they would comply with the order but have said they couldn’t immediately avail themselves in Malindi because they were held up somewhere else.

“I have been requested to record a statement in Malindi tomorrow against the charges of “Robbery with Violence” that apparently took place during the Malindi by elections. I shall comply with the request on Thursday this week because I will be attending to official duties on Tuesday and Wednesday.” Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho issued a statement in regard to CID summon.

The summoning of Cord politicians is widely interpreted as Government’s intolerance towards the position. JAP’s lose in Malindi by-election dealt Jubilee a big blow considering Uhuru pitched camp at the Coast for a month trying to woe Coast people.
