In case you didn’t know or you’re living under the rock, Yemi Alade real name Yemi Eberechi Alade officially launched her forth studio album in Nairobi at the Blue Door, in Westlands the other day successfully where she also performs some of her songs and explained the inspirations behind the records on the album.
Top artistes like Dogo Janja, Victoria Kimani, Patricia Kihoro, Anyiko Owoko, Willis Chimano, Naiboi, Nadia Mukami even Eric Musyoka and others came out to support the Nigerian international artiste who has since came to love Kenya as her second home.

Yemi Alade’s fourth studio album dubbed ‘Woman of Steel’ which was released on August 30th 2019 under the Universal Music Africa label has 13 tracks on it with two bonus tracks being ‘Poverty'(Swahili version) featuring Funke Akindele and ‘Oh My Gosh’ featuring Rick Ross.
Yemi Alade’s team has already submitted the album for Grammy’s consideration being that this album is nothing else like you have ever listened to.
Yemi Alade is very versatile on this project without forgetting that she has broken multiple YouTube records this year alone, also she got to work with Rick Ross. Clearly, 2019 has been her year thus far on her lucrative career.
On the album, Yemi Alade has everyone covered, from Afrofusion, Afrobeats lovers to hip hop enthusiasts to RnB lovers, Yemi Alade proved she has the vocals as she somewhat sounded like Whitney Houston on her ‘Remind You’ record off the album where she sings her heart out, so sweet, alluring and emotionally correct that you can love her instantly and become her fan forever just by listening to the ‘Remind You’ song alone.
The heavens might have heard her harmonic voice and nodded in appreciation on that Remind You’ record.
