CORD will hold anti-IEBC protests every  Monday and Thursday to coarse the government to bow to their demands.

They are now asking police to provide protection during the demos. CORD refused to participate in constituting a team that would lead dialogue engagements saying that they are not ready for the parliamentary way as required by the constitution.

Raila Odinga and CORD says, it will not settled for a parliamentary process on seeking a solution to the IEBC impasse saying the dialogue process should be at the presidency level.

Kenyans are now telling CORD to stop causing instability, arguing that a chance for dialogue was created but they declined the offer, further asking, what do they want?

‘We’re sick and tired with Cord’s DANGEROUS protests . Let those leaders bring their families for Monday and Thursday demos.’ one angry Kenyan retorts.

Jubilee Alliance Party says that, they are willing to trim 11 member team to strike accord with CORD a move they have already said no to.

President Uhuru Kenyatta said that,he will not go against the constitution of Kenya which stipulates the procedures to be followed to solve such crisis.

CORD is calling for the resignation of IEBC Commissioners and disbandment of the electoral body. They want a new team erected.

The commissioner say, that a new team would be incapacitated to handle an oversee a successful election,if they are given mandate.

They say, there were hitches during the last general elections and hence, they have learnt and are now very prepared to deliver a fair election.

CORD insists that they do not have confidence with the current chair Isaak Hassan and his team and so,they want them replaced.
