Sauti Sol as a group that consists of Delvin Mudigi, Bien-Aimé Baraza, Polycarp Otieno, Willis Austin Chimano has made unprecedented moves over their music career that has seen them not only be a powerhouse, household music band in Kenya but across Africa.

The afro-pop band that was formed in Nairobi back in 2005 has worked with the best of the best African artistes the continent has to offer, they have worked with Burna Boy, Patoranking, Tiwa Savage, Nyashinski, Bebe Cool, Vanessa Mdee, Jah Prayzah, Khaligraph Jones, Alikiba and South African boy band group Mi Casa.

It’s safe to say that Sauti Sol currently getting ready to drop their new album is a well-accomplished group that deserves all the accolades they have received so far.

Late last year, the group fired their long term manager, Marek Fuchs and replaced him with a South African manager which came as a shock to many since Marek has been with them for years. The two parties are cordial to this day even though they are not working directly with each other anymore.

Looks like the new manager has been making serious moves already since the group has landed their very first major record deal with Universal Music Africa which is based in South Africa.

Taking to social media, Universal Music Africa confirmed that indeed the Afro-pop collective has signed with them an exclusive recording agreement deal.

“It’s official! Our first major recording deal, UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP. Thank you guys for being patient. We really hope y’all are ready for the new album”

I am a Pan-Afrikanist to the core and love to let the world know what they are missing in Africa. I might do that through music and some interesting posts from time to time so please bare with me.

I will always be real though, that's a guarantee.
