Veteran US rapper Rick Ross caused excitement after he commended Tanzanian duo Navy Kenzo and asked to work with them on the remix of their song ‘Sip N Whine’.

Ross had a direct conversation through Instagram with the Navy Kenzo group where he saluted them for their song ‘Sip N Whine’ which is one of the best songs on their album ‘Most People Want This’.

Ross praised the song saying that it was good and that he would like to be involved in its remix.

“I like your song, it has a hot vibe and I would like to tell you that there is a chance for Rick Ross to participate so we can remix it. I’m happy to do it with you guys,” Ross told Aika and Nahreel who make up the group Navy Kenzo.

Rick Ross was very receptive to the song ‘Sip N Whine’ in which the artistes mentioned Luc Belaire – a premier Champagne brand that the American rapper is also promoting.

If this is successful, this will be the second collabo for the US rapper to do with an artiste from Tanzania.

It should be noted that Diamond Platnumz in 2017 managed to set a record as the first artiste from East Africa to collaborate with Ross.

Diamond featured Rick Ross in the hit song ‘Waka’ which premiered in December 2017.
