Rayvanny who is currently signed under Diamond Platnumz’s record label and management company, Wasafi Classic Baby(WCB) has branched out on his own.

The second East and Central African artiste to ever win a BET Award after Eddy Kenzo, Rayvanny real name Raymond Shaban Mwakyusa alias Chui has opened up his state-of-the-art record label and its studios is out of this world.

Officially launching his record label yesterday at the Next Level Music headquarters, the 27-year-old has impressed a lot of people, Diamond Platnumz notwithstanding.

Diamond Platnumz who still maintains to be his boss despite the BET winner branching out on his own was present and he was clearly, openly, and clearly happy for the achievements that Rayvanny has achieved so far in the music industry.

Just to reiterate how good Rayvanny really is in the music industry, Diamond Platnumz’s manager, Babu Tale who is now a legislator openly said that Rayvanny was the most talented artiste in the WCB roster.

Rayvanny named most talented Wasafi artiste ahead of Diamond Platnumz

Diamond Platnumz during an interview at the launch party said that the agreement he has with his artistes, is like that of Baby’s Cash Money Records that brought forth Lil Wayne’s Young Money Records which later on brought forth Drake’s OVO.

If anything, Diamond Platnumz is very happy for his young protégé who he believed in when nobody else could give him a chance to.

Simba believes that Rayvanny’s new record label ‘Next Level Music’ is going to be one of the most successful record labels not only in Tanzania, and East and Central Africa but the entire African continent.

Taking to social media, Rayvanny shared a VIRTUAL TOUR of his newly established record label that he built incognito without anybody knowing all about it or hinting it on social media has impressed netizens all over the continent.

Diamond Platnumz’s opened up on his interview at the launch of Next Level Music about Rayvanny being a down-to-earth person who does things in a hush-hush type of manner.

Diamond Platnumz said the contractual agreement that he has with Rayvanny's new record label is like that of Baby's Cash Money and Lil Wayne's Young Money or that of Young Money and OVO. Photo credit: Instagram/rayvanny

Simba even disclosed that Rayvanny recently bought the latest edition of Prado without flaunting it on social media that’s why he’s not surprised why he chose to keep his project a secret from the masses.

Rayvanny becomes the first signed artiste under WCB to officially branch out from Diamond Platnumz’s WCB record label even though he’s still under a contractual agreement with WCB.

Rayvanny hasn’t left WCB, he’s just branched out, and Diamond Platnumz has a share in the new record label causing major ripples in Africa today because, in essence, it’s still under WCB contractually.

Congratulations to Rayvanny are in order.

Harmonize was the first artiste to ever leave WCB to open up his own record and management company Konde Music Worldwide after he paid off his severance fees to WCB.

He had breached his contractual agreement with WCB.

I am a Pan-Afrikanist to the core and love to let the world know what they are missing in Africa. I might do that through music and some interesting posts from time to time so please bare with me.

I will always be real though, that's a guarantee.
