Rajab Abdul Kahali, popularly known as Harmonize, was the first artiste to be signed by Wasafi records about four years ago when the label was in its infancy.
Harmonize was also the second highest grossing Wasafi artiste after Diamond. His exit from the label has created a void which needs to be filled.
Rayvanny is the obvious candidate to fill Harmonize’s position. Now he is the old Wasafi member and also the second highest grossing Wasafi artiste after Diamond.
Vanny Boy is also the most successful Wasafi artiste having won BET award and other international accolades.
Despite Rayvanny’s alluring CV, Mbosso too feels he has the credentials to step up and be Wasafi’s top artiste. Sources within Wasafi have intimated to Tanzanian press that Rayvanny and Mbosso are jostling for the top spot at the label.
The sources say that Rayvanny and Mbosso are locked in a cold war that has been evident in Wasafi WhatsApp group and other social networking sites.
A source that spoke to Global Publishers on condition of anonymity explained that Rayvanny and Mbosso are jostling for Wasafi’s top spot because the position comes with a lot of benefits.
Apparently Diamond worked tirelessly to push Harmonize to be an international star being Wasafi’s top artiste, and now both Raynanny and Mbosso are dying to win their boss’ favor.

Baada ya Harmonize kusepa, Diamond anataka kumpandisha mmoja kati ya Rayvanny na Mbosso ambaye ataziba pengo la Harmonize. Hapo ndiyo kuna kimbembe kwani jambo hilo limesababisha mpasuko ndani ya Wasafi wenyewe kisha kwa mashabiki wao mitaani ambao kwa sasa ni mamilioni; wa ndani na nje ya Bongo,” the source intimated.
