Diamond Platnumz and Tanasha Donna Oketch were supposed to get married on February 14th 2019. The year is almost coming to an end and there are no talks about that grand wedding.

Diamond Platnumz and Tanasha Donna Oketch started dating in late November 2018. The two met for the first time in a club in 2016 but lost touch until November 2018 when they met again and fell heads over heel in love.

In December 2018, Diamond announced that he would marry Tanasha in February 2019 in a wedding that was to be held in a span of four days.

“I have already planned my wedding to be on Valentine’s Day next year. Valentine will be on Thursday so the wedding will be on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. If it happens that there is anything important I will change (wedding date) but I want it so much to be next year,” said Diamond in a December 2018 interview with Wasafi TV.

Diamond postponed his wedding without revealing the exact date when he will be exchanging vows with Tanasha. 2019 is almost coming to an end and there is no mention of when exactly they will wed.

Diamond’s sister Mwanahawa Abdul Jumaa alias Queen Darleen has since come out to reveal the real reason why her brother postponed his wedding to Tanasha.

Speaking during an interview with Global Publishers, Queen Darleen said that Diamond is afraid that he will be tied down if he decides to marry at the moment.

Queen Darleen further elaborated that her brother will marry at a later date when he feels that he is ready to strike a balance between his music career and life as a married man.

“Sisi hujadiliana sana kuhusu masuala ya ndoa, [Diamond] ni mtu anayehofia sana kujiingiza kwenye ndoa. Anataka ajiandae ipasavyo kabla ya kuamua kufunga pingu za maisha,” said Queen Darleen.
