Comedian Sande Bush popularly known as Dr. Ofweneke has revealed that he was raised by a step-mother after his biological mom abandoned him at only one week old.
Ofweneke opened up about his past during a recent interview with fellow comedian Jalang’o on his YouTube channel.

The comedian was born in Nairobi at Pumwani Maternity Hospital to David Sande and the late Jennifer Atieno. His late mother left his dad a week after he was born as they were not in good terms.
“She did her better part of the job of giving birth to me, then she fulfilled her purpose and when her contract was done a week after my birth she left,” said Ofweneke.
Ofweneke’s dad remarried two years after his biological mom left. The comedian says his step-mother raised him like his own real son.
“Two years later on my dad remarried to an amazing beautiful woman who I call mom until today Mrs. Lillian Stella Oyolo Sunday,” said Ofweneke.
Adding that;
“They [father and stepmom] said I spoiled their dating time because whenever they used to go for dates my dad will carry me so wanakula Fanta hapa na scones na hapa kando wanachange napkins.”
