Sauti Sol has invested millions of shillings into their forthcoming Sol Fest which they want to be the biggest music festival in the region.

The group has so far spent a staggering Ksh61 million on the 2022 edition of the Sol Fest which is slated for December 17 in Nairobi at the Fox Drive-In, Thika road.

In a press briefing, Sauti Sol’s lead singer Bien assured fans of a memorable show that promises to be bigger and better than international festivals like Nyege Nyege.

“The lineup of performers will be amazing. It will be a success, we are pushing it to international standards and be bigger and better than continental ones like Nyege Nyege,” Bien said.

Bien further stated that they were expecting more than 15,000 attendants at the Sol Fest.

“Expect a phenomenal experience. The show is us celebrating our values of excellence. We are expecting more than 15,000 attendants,” he said.

“It will be big and better. Tupatane we have a good time,” Savara said.

Sol Generation’s Ben Soul on his part said he cannot wait to get to the stage and perform for their loving fans.

“Let my heart out to the fans. Also, there is new music and a couple of surprises.”
