Nyashinski hasn’t performed in over a year, he speaks on it

Nyashinski opened up after a performing gig that he was looking forward to performing at got canceled by the government over Covid-19 rules and regulations stipulated by the Ministry of Health.

Taking to social media, Nyashinski lauded the government’s efforts of trying to flatten the curve of new Covid-19 infections in the country but he also urged the government to consider artistes and the entertainment industry which employs a lot of people who depends on it to support themselves and their families.

He confessed that he hasn’t performed in over a year since the pandemic struck.

The renowned rap artiste says he was looking forward to performing for his fans this past Saturday but due to covid-19 restrictions, the gig had to be postponed.

He cannot wait to perform for his fans already, something that he’s looking forward to every day.

“While I encourage us to stay safe during this time, it is important for the Government to step up and support the events industry.

I have not performed for more than one year now and I was really looking forward to seeing you all this Saturday. It’s unfortunate that the Made in Kenya Concert has been postponed yet again due to the permits from the government.

Our leaders should lay a strategy to support the events, entertainment and all the struggling sectors. Peace & Love.”
