Nikita Kering’ wins big in Nigeria becoming the youngest winner at Afrima Awards ever

Nikita Kering’ has finally made her presence known across the continent after winning her ever regional award thus far in her successful music career.

As young as she is, Nikita Kering’ has been able to achieve a lot of accolades in her music journey for instance she got chosen to be sponsored by Mr Eazi’s Empawa’s program.

emPawa equips African artists with the tools, knowledge, network and investment to grow and export their music from Africa to the World.

The 17-year old Nikita Kering’ who has by now released two official, original songs; ‘Happy Without You’ and ‘Tragedy’ which are both doing quite fine not only in Africa but across the globe is on the up and up on her career and it’s only a matter of time before she takes over the world with her music prowess.

Just the other day, the beautiful lass got her first Afrima nomination where she was nominated in three categories;

1. Best Female Artist in Eastern Africa.
2. Revelation of the African Continent.
3. Songwriter of the Year in Africa.

Taking to social media moments ago, the ecstatic, young, beautiful and talented Nikita Kering’ revealed to us that she has won not only her first but second award in a row at the coveted 6th annual Afrima Awards(All Africa Music Awards).

Nikita won two out of three categories she was nominated in. She won in the categories of ‘Best Female Artiste in Eastern Africa’ beating Nandy, Queen Darleen, Queen Sheeba Rosa Ree, Vanessa Mdee, Maua Sama and Irene Namatovu.

She also went on to win big in the category of ‘Revelation of the African Continent’ making her the East African Queen at the just concluded awards held on Saturday, November 23, 2019, at the Eko Convention Centre of Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria.

she wrote on social media.
