The celebrated, revered, beautiful, and talented singer who always leaves his soul behind in every record she puts out was the topic of conversation not only in her native country, Tanzania but also here, in Kenya and the entire East and Central African region, entire Africa somewhat because she’s a big deal, musically.
The ‘Kivuruge’, ‘Number One’, ‘Do Me’, ‘Nibakishie’, ‘Aibu’ hitmaker recently broke up with her boyfriend, Billnass of many years and nobody saw it coming, she’s been through thick and thin with her, the ups and downs, all cliché’s you could find.

That’s why it might have taken a toll on her and social media wanted to know more about her, about her personal life, and of course everything about her.
For some reason/s netizens, especially in Tanzania wanted to know what was her HIV/AIDS status.
Yes, this came as a shock not only to her but to a lot of fans who love what she’s doing and genuinely look up to her.
This might just be the first time an artiste of Nandy’s caliber has ever been asked out by social media to reveal her HIV/AIDS status.
Her statement came after a fan asked her if she was infected with the deadly virus by the late Ruge Mutahaba.

Taking to social media, on her Instagram status, the ‘Na Nusu’ hitmaker (Nandy has a lot of hit records) addressed the status once and for all since she’s been getting pressure to address the same from everywhere in the social media circles.
“Maswali ya Mahusiano msitishe kuniuliza jaman nipeni mi 5 tenaa(stop asking me about relationship questions)” she said in part.
“Swali la ukimwi pia muache kuniuliza otherwise unataka nikupunguzie kidogo… tuheshimiane! Mnafanya hata wale wanao umwa kweli wajione SIO binadamu wa kawaida.. HOFU YA MUNGU itawale(The questions of AIDS also stop asking me, let’s respect each other. You’re making those who are really sick feel that they are NOT normal human beings. GODLY FEAR RULES)” she added.
Nandy is sick and tired of questions about her relationship and her HIV/AIDS status.
