Khaligraph Jones has caused a ripple effect to not only the Kenyan rap scene but the entire east African hip hop community.

The “best rapper in Nigeria” made the entire East African region talk about him thanks to his hit record ‘Yes Bana’ that has since taken over the region ever since it dropped officially a couple of days ago.

Khaligraph Jones called upon every other rapper, both known and unknown, established and non-established rappers to jump on the Motif On The Beat’s produced beat and deliver some of their best songs using the best.

The region listened.

Many rappers like Breeder LW and Japesa has come forward to deliver an unforgettable record over the beat he provided.

Khaligraph Jones’ challenge also called upon one veteran record producer, Musyoka who has never rapped on a beat in over a decade but thanks to the challenge, Musyoka finally proves that he still got it rapping together with Konkodi on the beat that Musyoka added some fresh additive on.

Just from listening to Musyoka spitting, I can’t help but wonder if Khaligraph Jones might include him on the next always anticipated Khali Cartel because the record producer murdered the beat, not throwing shade to Konkodi who also delivered on his verse though.

Watch Konkodi and Musyoka making Kenyan hip hop proud with their version of ‘Yes Bana’ below.

I am a Pan-Afrikanist to the core and love to let the world know what they are missing in Africa. I might do that through music and some interesting posts from time to time so please bare with me.

I will always be real though, that's a guarantee.
