David Oyando alias Mulamwah and his baby mama Carol Muthoni aka Carrol Sonnie broke up and now their ugly spat has spilled over to the public domain.

Mulamwah and Sonnie only announced their breakup in December 2021 but they had split way earlier and were only keeping public appearance together.

The two were blessed with a baby Keilah Oyando in September last year, but by that time they had already called it quits on their relationship.

“Society has judged me wrongly. We separated even before the baby was born. We had decided early. When she was three months pregnant. I am a nurse and I know the importance of taking care of a pregnant woman. That is why we brought the news later,” Mulamwah explained why he didn’t announce their breakup earlier.

Mulamwah opened on breaking up with Sonnie during an interview with Mseto East Africa revealing details of their breakup that had not been made public before.

The comedian revealed he broke up with his baby when she was just three months pregnant but chose to wait until the birth of their child to make the breakup public.

Speaking during a recent interview with Dr Ofweneke, Mulamwah explained that Sonnie and him broke up because she was materialistic.

He claimed that his ex-girlfriend was not understanding of his financial situation and would seek material stuff from other people whenever he found it difficult to give her the best clothes or other needs.

Mulamwah has now taken to social media to lament about being sidelined by Sonnie in the raising of their daughter. He said his ex has completely cut him off their their daughter.

“Honestly ata sijui kama bado anaitwa Keilah, the mother told me she will change the names and tell the kid babake alikufa. My family has never seen the kid alikataa kumleta home, she even shaved her on her own against norms,” Mulamwah said during Q&A.
