Wamala denied beating up Mowzey as it was reported by several witnesses who were present at the scene of crime. He said that he didn’t lift the late musician and threw him down as reported.

“The only thing I did that day during the brawl was trying to stop the fight. I didn’t beat anyone, I didn’t fight, I didn’t lift anyone like they said I lifted the deceased and threw him down. I don’t remember touching him,” said Wamala.

Wamala further claimed that Mowzey Radio was rowdy on that fateful day he met his death, the suspect said that the late musician caused fracas picking up fights with everyone.

“Radio started fighting with everyone who came near him, maybe he thought they were all his enemies. He kept his guard up trying to fight,” Wamala told the court.
