The Gengetone artist Miracle Baby, whose real name is Peter Mwangi, had earlier appealed to the public to donate towards his lifesaving surgery.

Miracle Baby Of defunct Sailors Gengetone group was appealing to Kenyans to help him raise Ksh300,000 to undergo stomach surgery.

A close contact revealed that the rapper has been having stomach issues since 2018 when he had an obstruction in the intestines.

However, Miracle Baby’s girlfriend Carol Katrue has now revealed that the Gengetone rapper no longer needs to undergo surgery as stated earlier.

Speaking to YouTuber Mungai Eve, Carol said the facility where Miracle Baby had claimed to be seeking treatment misled them about his condition.

She said that they had sought a second opinion and that doctors overruled the need for surgery.

She reiterated that Miracle Baby has had medical issues with his stomach since 2018 which has seen him undergo surgery in the recent past.

“We went to the first hospital where they did a couple of tests and told us Peter required a surgery since there was a growth developing but we visited another hospital in Naivasha where they told us it was not a growth and there was no need for surgery,” Carol said.
