4 mins read

Dr. Miguna Miguna has taken to social media to express what he believes President Uhuru Kenyatta has planned out for William Ruto.

Currently, the parliament is divided into two sections with one side wanting to impeach the current and sitting Deputy President, William Ruto while the other one is totally against the notion altogether.

Rift Valley Governors assures President Uhuru Kenyatta full backing on BBI

This has since made the Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya, William Samoei Ruto, Ph.D. to open up and tweet about the issue at hand, something that he seldom does.

Joshua Kutuny says William Ruto can’t beat Raila Odinga alone in 2022

“99% of MPs pretending to give me lectures on supporting UKenyatta have NEVER voted for him. I have CAMPAIGNED, VOTED & SUPPORTED him in the 4 elections he ran for president. The NOT new nonsensical insults/ sterile accusations spewed were against UHURUTO/Jubilee in the past.IGNORE.”

William Ruto tweeted a couple of minutes ago.

Miguna Miguna who is keenly following Kenyan politics while in exile in Canada has taken his sweet valuable time to break down what President Uhuru Kenyatta has planned out for his Deputy William Ruto. They are three things.

1. Resignation letter

According to Miguna Miguna, President Uhuru Kenyatta will publish a resignation letter that William Ruto would have signed.

Under Article 148(7) of the Constitution, the signed resignation letter handed over by the Deputy President will take effect immediately.

Article 148(7) of the Constitution states:

The Deputy President may resign from office at any time by notice, in writing, addressed to the President and the resignation shall take effect on the date and at the time specified in the notice, if any, or if a date is not specified, at noon on the day after the notice is delivered.

2. Impeachment

The self-proclaimed Pan-Afrikan revolutionary intellectual. Writer. Lawyer. Fighting for justice using words, facts and the TRUTH referred again to the Constitution of how President Uhuru Kenyatta might have William Ruto impeached.

Miguna Miguna shared that the President will use Article 150(1) of the Constitution to action this.

Article 150(1) of the Constitution states:

(1) The Deputy President may be removed from office–
(a) on the ground of physical or mental incapacity to perform the functions of the office; or
(b) on impeachment–
(i) on the ground of a gross violation of a provision of this Constitution or any other law;
(ii) where there are serious reasons to believe that the Deputy President has committed a crime under national or international law; or
(iii) for gross misconduct.

3. Gideon Moi as a replacement

The lawyer who has since been vocal on social media calling out the numerous cartels out and upper echelon politicians in the country listed how the President intends to replace Deputy President, William Ruto with the son of the late, former President of Kenya, Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi as a way of appeasing Kalenjins.

This will be done in 14 days, at least according to the National Resistance Movement (NRM) self-declared general Miguna Miguna.

“Within 14 days of orchestrating Ruto’s removal, Despot Uhuru Kenyatta intends to nominate Red-panted Gideon Moi to replace Ruto. Gideon’s appointed will be aimed at appeasing Kalenjins… ” part of his tweet read.
