The Rift Valley Region Governors yesterday met up with President Uhuru Kenyatta to talk about the Building Bridges Initiative(BBI) rally.

The Governors briefed him on the planning for the Building Bridges Initiative(BBI) on the consultative meeting they had with the President.

The next major BBI rally will see all the key figures in politics, at least those supporting the BBI come together on the next BBI rally scheduled for Saturday, 21st March in Nakuru.

President Uhuru Kenyatta had a sitdown lengthy conversation at State House, Nairobi yesterday where the Governors from Rift Valley Region assured the President of their full backing of the BBI process and undertook to ensure unity and inclusion of all stakeholders in the run-up to the Nakuru rally.

The President doesn’t want the incident that happened in Meru during the BBI rally that saw Gatundu South MP, Moses Kuria, and Elgeyo Marakwet Senator, Kipchumba Murkomen walking out with Meru residents who came out for the BBI rally happen again.
