American based, Kenyan musician Mumbi just came back to the country after getting raised out of the country and in the short time she has been in the country, she has created a positive clout for herself through music and her unbelievable beauty that the “beautiful” word can’t even do it justice.

Mumbi who is warming up to her Extended Play is also making a name for herself as someone that you can’t talk down, intimidate or take her for granted. She recently took to social media to express why it’s hard for her to fit in anywhere.

“It’s frightening to put yourself out there ..but if you don’t, you’ll live your whole life wondering.. I’ve never fit in..eventually I learned I wasn’t made to..” she said in part on her lengthy post on the gram.

The sultry yet talented artiste who is contemplating to settle in Kenya after living for so long abroad went on to say how people mistake her self-aware for arrogance which is not usually the case with her as she has struggled to be where she is in life today.

“It’s not arrogance it’s being self-aware.. I’ve struggled for my purpose ..spent my last for my purpose.. slept on the floor for my purpose.. and still I adjust my beautifully damaged crown and rise. Middle finger to anyone who says you can’t.. says you’re not or writes you off .. they are not the authors of your story.. they are not the carriers of your destiny..” she added

Mumbi also promised the release of her debut EP dubbed ‘For The Culture’ that should drop anytime soon, be on the lookout for this.

“on that note #ForTheCulture EP will be out soon, Join me on my beginning 😘🇰🇪” Mumbi finished her elaborate post

I love everybody who loves everybody, somebody got to love somebody at some point.
Music is something that comes natural to everybody and it's a language that everybody can understand, I understand it and that's why I speak it
fluently, do you.
