Korede Bello just passed with distinction in Journalism at the Nigerian Institute of Journalism. The Naija superstar who has worked with numerous international artiste like Kelly Rowland just to name but a few was hesitant to share the news to his fans but then again he thought against it as he might be not giving the youth the zeal that they deserve to make it in Academia just as he did.

“I initially didn’t want to post this for many reasons but I was wrong on all counts. I’d be doing millions of young people and my peers a disservice by not boldly putting it out there that impossiblity is a myth; you can be Talented and Distinguished; Famous and Dignified; Celebrated and Educated ; that you can be a MEGA SUPER STAR with a MEGA SUPER VISION.” Korede Bello said ecstatically.

Korede Bello opened up about why he endured to finish his studies even though he is an established artiste in the music industry saying that he needed to ;et the young generation, especially the youth that you can achieve academic excellence even if you are doing something else like your calling and/or calling which necessarily often than not is not academic.

“For this I am grateful to God. The main reason I endured to the finish line was because I needed to push myself and also to be a light for a lot of young Nigerians who think you cannot be an established Artiste and still achieve academic excellence. I endured because #MyPeople needed a role model.” Korede Bello went on to say how he used to find tuition fees way before he broke out to be singed under Mavin Records under Don Jazzy. “A few days before I got signed I was still looking for tuition fees, so I understand the experience that some of you go through. But just as HE came through for me , HE’ll come through for you. No, it wasn’t easy but it was worth it. I was graced and I’m grateful.” He also set up the record straight that he didn’t buy his results even though he could afford but insisted that he paid his dues though hardwork and commitment.

“And no, I didn’t buy my result but I paid for it through hardwork, commitment and sacrifice (time and music). You can too. I believe in you, I believe in us ✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾 #DistinguishedNigerianYouths”.

If that’s not motivation enough to pull up your socks and excel in academics, I honestly don’t know what will.
