King Kaka’s name is easily synonymous with the Kenyan hip-hop scene and rap generally due to his generous contribution to the genre.

The rapper whose real name is Kennedy Ombima has been proving his worth in the music scene without any provocation whatsoever going to an extent of proving his versatility in the industry by working with the sought-after underground hip hop group and drill maestros Wakadinali.

He also released his studio mixtape the other day, so there’s that as well. King Kaka is easily one of the most prolific artistes in the rap game today despite having to take a sick leave from the hip hop scene last year to fight for his health which saw him losing weight.

Among the many accomplished achievements and so much deserved accolades on his illustrious career, King Kaka was humbled by getting to perform for so many people at once in a Mombasa concert a few days ago.

King Kaka got to perform for over 80,000 revelers live in Mombasa and he couldn’t be happier and humbled.

The rapper was among the top celebrated artistes who were booked to perform at the highly anticipated Mombasa Governor’s Fireworks’ show that was brought to fruition by the flamboyant Mombasa Governor, Hon. Hassan Joho.

The concert was held at Mama Ngina, Waterfront.

He took to social media to express his gratitude.

“Never seen so many people in one place since I started my career. 80,000 to 100,000. Mombasa Nawapenda Sana,” he said.

It’s on the same concert that was graced with other established sought-after entertainers in the country that saw him giving out his sneakers right after his performance to a lucky fan.

He went to the stage with sleek, sneakers but left without them on December 31st.

“To the lucky fan who got my shoes Big Up!!!,” King Kaka wrote on Instagram sharing a photo of himself without his sneakers.
