After 14-long years, Keeping Up With Kardashians is on its death bed after Kim Kardashian made a public announcement about the end of the reality TV show that made a name for her and her family.

Season 21 of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, which will be its last will air in early 2021.

“It is with heavy hearts that we’ve made the difficult decision as a family to say goodbye to Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” she said in a statement posted on Twitter.

Expressing her thanks to the “thousands of individuals and businesses” involved in the programme, Kim also added: “I am so incredibly grateful to everyone who has watched and supported me and my family these past 14 incredible years.

Thank you to the thousands of individuals and businesses that have been a part of this experience and, most importantly, a very special thank you to Ryan Seacrest for believing in us, E! for being our partner, and our production team at BUnim/Murray, who’ve spent countless hours documenting our lives.” she went on.

Kim Kardashian didn’t disclose the reason why she and the entire Kardashian family decided to do away with the reality TV but they, “are beyond grateful to all of you who’ve watched us for all of these years through the good times, the bad times, the happiness, the tears, and the many relationships and children.” going on ahead to add, “We’ll forever cherish the wonderful memories and countless people we’ve met along the way.”

Most family members were known after the show started back in 2007 with the early shows primarily focusing on the lives of Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian together with their ex-partners; Kourtney’s ex-boyfriend Scott Disick, Kim’s ex-husband Kris Humphries and Khloe’s ex-husband Lamar Odom.

Later on, the show roped in Kris Jenner, her now ex-husband Caitlyn Jenner then Bruce Jenner the Olympic gold medal-winning athlete, and half-sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner.

Kim Kardashian even acknowledges that without the reality TV show, she wouldn’t have been known the way she’s known today or achieve what she’s achieved today, and for that, she will forever be grateful.

“Without Keeping Up With The Kardashians, I wouldn’t be where I am today,” Kim said in part on Twitter. She went on to say, “I am so incredibly grateful to everyone who has watched and supported me and my family these past 14 incredible years.

This show made us who we are and I will be forever in debt to everyone who played a role in shaping our careers and changing our lives forever.”
