Khaligraph Jones is known for giving props where it’s due and this time around he has some major props to give to one of the most sought-after, and talented record producers and engineers in the music industry today, Ares 66.

Khaligraph Jones disclosed how Ares 66 gave him a chance to record when nobody was ready to give him a chance to become as great as he is today.

Ares 66 allowed him to record at his Big Beatz Afrique record studio a few years ago and Khaligraph Jones hasn’t forgotten about it to this day.

Taking to social media, Khaligraph Jones opened up about his relationship with Ares 66 who also doubles as a rapper. Their relationship started more than a decade ago.

Khaligraph Jones recalled the very first time he met Ares 66 in 2010 at his recording studio Big Beats Afrique which he had recently opened in Umoja 1 in Nairobi.

Ares 66 allowed the award-winning and internationally acclaimed rapper to record for free since back then he didn’t have enough money to afford to record his music. The producer overlooked all that and saw talent over money and decided to give Khaligraph Jones a shot, he’s never regretted doing that to this day.

Since then, the two have been working together for years. Ares 66 is the man behind a lot of Khaligraph Jones hit songs.

Khaligraph Jones thanks Ares 66 officially

“In 2010 I Met Aress 66 in Umoja 1, He had just opened his Studio Called big Beats, I told him I didn’t have money to pay for a session and He allowed me to record for free,” Khaligraph Jones wrote in part.

Celebrating him on social media for the first time at least in public, Khaligraph Jones gave major props to Ares 66 for believing in him and giving him a chance when nobody else wanted to give him a shot at what he’s best at.

He also disclosed that he’s been working with him for years having worked on both of his studio albums; ‘Testimony 1990’, and ‘Invisible Currency’.

“Today I want to celebrate this brother right here for giving me a chance when nobody was willing to.”

“He has an eye for talent and he is also the Engineer behind the Biggest Hip Hop group in Africa @wakadinali who also happen share a similar history with him, he also sound Engineered both my Albums Testimony 1990 and Invisible Currency, God bless you My G @r.s.sixtysix,” he concluded his social media post.

Ares 66 is known for putting on now-established rappers like Sewersydaa, Scar Mkadinali, and Domani Munga who comprise the formidable rap group Wakadinali, he’s also the man behind the Dyna Cods.

Just as Khaligraph Jones intimated, Ares 66 indeed has an eye to spot talent regardless of if the talent has money or not. Hip hop should be grateful for the immense contribution Ares 66 has made to the genre in Kenya.
