Just in case Jay Z and Eminem missed it! Khaligraph Jones murdered the ‘Renegade’ instrumentals

Khaligraph Jones in a way or two has helped take the Kenyan hip hop scene outside the spheres of the Kenya outlines and he has been consistent with that ever since he went commercial.

During the time of this reporting, Khaligraph Jones stands as the only Kenyan rapper who has won almost everything there is to be won in Africa, he has the AFRIMA Awards, AFRIMMA Awards, and he even got the Soundcity MVP Awards that catapulted him to Nigeria’s mainstream stardom.

To some, he may have reached his plateau as a rap artiste but to me, I feel as if he’s just getting warmed up, he’s just getting started because he’s yet to win that coveted BET Award, that Grammy, that MTV Award and then some.

Having been cosigned by notable key figures in hip hop, not only in Africa but across the world(for point of reference, 1/3 member of the formidable rap group the Los, Styles P personally sent out a shout out to him years ago), he’s yet to get cosigned by Ye formerly known as Kanye West, Jay Z, Dr Dre, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent maybe even Eminem, because I believe those are the cosigns that he must be looking out for, I mean who wouldn’t want to be cosigned by the aforementioned living hip hop legends, I know I would if I was a rap artiste.

That notwithstanding, the rapper who traces his roots back in Kayole slums in Nairobi recently shared a video of one of his interesting freestyles that captured social media attention for a minute.

Khaligraph Jones took the bull by its horns to freestyle over the legendary beats of the ‘Renegade’ track by Jay Z and Eminem taken from Jay Z’s ‘THe Blueprint’ studio album.

There are not so many artistes out there who have the cojones to do that because that might be regarded as a career suicide move but Khaligraph Jones went all out on that beat and delivered as if it was nothing.

Jay Z and Eminem might not know who Khaligraph Jones is at the moment but if they get to listen to him spit the way he did on their iconic ‘Renegade’ beats, they might just want to have some words with the self-proclaimed OG.

The rapper has a lot of freestyles out there alright, nobody can dispute that but what will always stand out as one of the best freestyles that he’s ever put out will forever be his freestyles on the Renegade beats.

However, if there’s anybody who can top over his Renegade freestyle in the music industry today, is himself. You can’t write off Khaligraph Jones, he always has a way of proving his doubters wrong every time.

Listen to his ‘Renegade’ freestyle that has a story to tell below which he shared on his social media account/s.
