Kayvo Kforce has come forward to open up in detail about how today’s hip hop has being infiltrated and saturated with rappers’ wannabes than actual, honest rappers who are keen on taking the game to the next level.

Kayvo Kforce had the best rap studio album in Kenya if not the entire of East and Central Africa making him one of the most bonafide, versatile, and prolific rappers to have graced the microphone.

The Kibera President opened up on rappers lacking creativity today who only jump in on the game for the sake of money, fame, women, glory, and nothing else. Hip hop is way more than that and Kayvo Kforce cared to open up on that being a fact in excruciating detail.

Kforce speaks about the music of today, he believes it is more about the hustle than what it was intended to be in the first place, an art.

“Music has become more of a hustle than art, there are way too many rappers nowadays. Nobody puts together a body of work and art anymore.” Kforce said in part, adding, “It seems like everybody is doing it for the money and not the art anymore, and the sad part is that all these millionaire social media stunts are all cap”.

Being a veteran in the hip hop industry and being one of the OGs in the game, Kayvo Kforce knows all about the ins and the outs of the rap game in the country and there’s absolutely no one who could call him out on the authenticity of the rap songs he usually rolls out.

The independent rap artiste who has been representing Kibera for years through his prolificness in music, and being true to the rap game went on to explain how and why most of these up and coming rappers withers into the sunset as quickly as they rose in the sunlight.

“This is why you hear a Rapper today and they’re gone tomorrow because they don’t know what they’re getting themselves into.

Kayvo Kforce drops a ‘different freestyle’ making a statement in hip hop

They see the money flashing, cars and women in videos and forget about the hard work you have to put in and the connections/networks you have to create for your art to take off.” Kayvo Kforce explained himself even further.

Kayvo Kforce has nothing but the love for the rap game and isn’t a person known for knocking down anyone’s hustle, even upcoming rappers in the game today but what he would want to see is at least the upcoming rappers put it some work that can make them stand out in the rap game and change the game to an extent.

Kforce expressed his observations of how the new crop of rappers don’t even know the stage presence when it comes down to it and it irks a lot of people, not only the ‘Napenda Hip Hop’ rapper, but even the hip hop fans and spectators.

“They think it’s easy then they get hit by that reality check. & to be honest, a lot of these new so-called rappers can’t even hold the mic right and can’t even perform on stage without screaming and yelling into the mic like crazy people.” Kforce continued.

Kforce even suggests the industry have some sort of artiste developments to aid and assist the rappers to become the best versions of themselves because a lot of them, without mentioning any names, don’t even know how to hold a microphone right and give out a sizzling performance.

“We need to bring back artist development coz most of these rappers can’t even hold it down on an interview without sounding like they talking to their homie,” Kforce said.

“Moral of this long post, LET’S BRING BACK THE ART AND CREATIVITY. LET’S CREATE A SUSTAINABLE RAP SCENE BY CREATING TIMELESS HIP HOP MUSIC.” it’s all that Kayvo Kforce wants, nothing more, nothing less.
