Karen Nyamu explains Samidoh’s involvement in Jeff Mwathi’s death investigation

Karen Nyamu has pointed out that Kenyans misjudged her lover Samidoh in relation to the case of the death of his nephew Jeff Mwathi about five months ago.

Jeff, who is the mugithi singer’s nephew, died mysteriously on February 22, 2023, when he was at DJ Fatxo’s house and Kenyan netizens pushed Samidoh to get to the bottom of the case given that he is also a police officer.

In an interview with Ala C in the episode of Reke Ciume and Ene, Nyamu revealed that her baby daddy was very much involved in the case of solving the death of his nephew although he did not do so in the eyes of the public.

“Of course people judged him (Samidoh) wrongly. There is nothing he did not do. Even the lawyers who were handling the case are his personal lawyers. They are the ones who do his work and they are the same ones who were in Kiambu all day with Jeff’s mother,” Karen Nyamu said.

Karen Nyamu, who is also a lawyer, criticized Kenyans for focusing too much on DJ Fatxo and treating him as the only suspect, even though the available evidence indicated that it was impossible that he was the one who killed the 23-year-old.

“Even if it happened in his house, although he may know who did it, not him. It seems that when Jeff died, Fatxo was outside the house. The investigation shows that,” he said.

Nyamu said the public focused too much on DJ Fatxo and failed to direct their eyes to other people who were in his house when Samidoh’s nephew met his death.

He pointed out that there is a high possibility that one of those who were inside the house could be guilty of the mysterious death which has not been solved till now.

“I don’t want to clean up Fatxo but maybe in his mind he knew he didn’t do that but maybe he knew. That’s just my opinion, I’m not telling the truth. I say what I usually think,” she said.

The nominated senator said Jeff’s mother is her close friend, adding that she talks to her often and encourages her as she continues to come to term with the death of her son.
