Gospel singer Kambua got pregnant and gave birth in secret without the media ever getting wind of it.
Kambua announced she was pregnant on November 28, 2022, and on November 29 she announced she had given birth and posted photos of a grown baby.
The gospel singer confessed that she had given birth months ago through her post on social media, saying that the couple of months she had spent with her daughter were precious.
“Nathalie Nyacira Muthiga Mathu. Most beautiful little girl I have laid my eyes on, with a gentle spirit to match. The last couple of months have been so precious with you, my rainbow đ. It is truly an honor being your mama,” Kambua wrote.
Unlike her first and second pregnancies where she publicly flaunted her baby bumps, Kambua decided to completely hide her third pregnancy – maybe because of the tragic loss of her son last year.
Kambua lost her newborn son Malachi in February 2021. Her baby died just a few days after she gave birth.
Malachi was the second child of Kambua and her husband Jackson Mathu. They got married in 2012 and had their first child after seven years.
The gospel singer had her first child, Nathaniel Muhoro Mathu, on August 10, 2019, after struggling to conceive for close to seven years.
She quickly got pregnant again in 2020 but unfortunately she lost her son in Malachi in February 2021. Kambua got pregnant again in 2021 and gave birth to her daughter in 2022 – albeit in utmost secret.
Kambua followed in the footsteps of gospel singer Eunice Njeri who secretly remarried, got pregnant and gave birth even without the media getting wind of it all.
Njeri herself revealed her best-kept secret in a post on social media on August 15, 2022, when she unveiled her husband and a partial glimpse of her son.
