Singer Jovial isn’t having anything to do with randy and uncouth fans and she’s making it clear to everybody else out there who is thinking about touching her inappropriately that she doesn’t play.

The ‘Jeraha’ hitmaker who is among the top independent artistes in Kenya today took to social media to speak about how she was —for the very first time in her music career—got disrespected by a fan who touched her inappropriately after she came off the stage in her recent gig.

Jovial reiterated on social media that she doesn’t play at all when anybody disrespects her in her place of work, she won’t wait on the security to pounce on you either, she’ll teach you that she’s a lioness if you need some teaching when you cross the line with her even if you’re her fan because after all, there’s boundaries and all and respect that ought to be adhered to for mutual and cordial relationships even that between fans and celebrities.

After “dealing” with him the way she knows how, Jovial is very much convinced that he will never try grabbing on somebody else ever again, at least not her. This begs the question; what is it did she do to the man?

“So for the first time, a fan disrespectfully grabbed my [expletive] after performance tukipita kwenda kukaa! Labda nikutaarifu tu kama wewe pia una hiyo tabia! Maana hata yeye hakutarajia naweza kugeuka mbogo ghafla! I’m not gonna wait for security to take action! Ntakuvuruga! Nina uhakika hawezi kurudia tena!,” she wrote on social media explaining how she dealt with the man who is anonymous for grabbing her bum.

Jovial is on top of her music career today, almost every other artiste wants to work with her, she has notable hit records of her own having worked with Otile Brown, ExRay Taniua, Mejja Okwonko, Marioo, Darassa, Bahati, Arrow Bwoy, even Ssaru just to mention a few established artistes she’s worked with.

She’s on record saying that she’s done doing collaboration at the moment because she believes she’s done way enough collaborations that she deserves to now focus on herself and her projects as a solo independent artiste.

She also noted that most of her collaboration songs that are coming out are projects that she worked on with the artistes long before she made the official statement about not giving out collaborations.
