Renowned actor Jackie Matubia has openly disclosed her rates for commercial advertisements, detailing the amount she charges based on the length of the ad.

Taking to her Instagram page, Matubia shared various rates corresponding to different ad durations and invited businesses looking to boost their product or service sales to reach out to her via email for advertising opportunities.

The mother of two surprised many by revealing that her rates are calculated per second.

For a 15-second ad, Matubia specified her fee at 2,500 shillings, while for a 60-second (one-minute) announcement, she set her rate at 10,000 shillings.

“Let’s collaborate! Contact me via phone or email,” she urged while sharing the advertising details on her social media.

Matubia’s transparency about her rates comes shortly after achieving a milestone as the first female actor to successfully premiere her web series ‘Toxic’ on YouTube.

Matubia has been a veteran actor since her Tahidi High days, a popular show that aired weekly on Citizen TV. She later gained prominence in another TV series, Zora, portraying the character ‘Nana’.

During her time on Zora, Matubia crossed paths with fellow actor Blessing Lung’aho, known as ‘Madiba’ on the show. Their on-screen romance blossomed into a real-life relationship, and they were blessed with a daughter. However, their relationship ended after less than two years.

Currently, Matubia has expressed that she has no plans to pursue marriage again but is dedicated to providing a bright future for her daughters.
