Kambua recounts how she discovered she was pregnant after 7 year struggle to get a baby

Kambua struggled for seven long years to get pregnant in vain, the gospel singer finally got pregnant at a time when she had almost completely lost hope in becoming a mother to her own biological child.

Kambua got married to businessman Jackson Mathu way back in 2012, the couple had to wait for seven years before God blessed them with their first child together.

The gospel singer gave birth to her son Nathaniel Muhoro Mathu sometimes in August 2019, she has been very discreet with information regarding her son.

However, in a recent interview The Play House, Kambua opened up about her pregnancy journey revealing how she discovered she was pregnant for the first time.

The mother of one disclosed that she thought she was suffering from bloating complications. She said that she was on holiday with her husband when she discovered that her stomach was bloated throughout.

She thought of complaining to the hotel management about their food thinking that their food was the cause of her bloating.

Kambua continued to experience bloating even when she returned home, and he ultimately decided to get checked at the hospital only to be given the best news in her life, that she was pregnant.

“When I came back home the bloating continued and I wondered kwani chakula yangu pia ina shida? I took a test and it came out positive. I had a mixture of happiness and fear because I was anxious since being pregnant is one thing and carrying it is another thing. I then decided to keep away from social media for a while as it was a sacred time for me,” said Kambua.

Adding that;

“By the time baby came, I knew I could not be distracted. I appreciate that people around me kept it under wraps.”
